Emma Houston, aka ‘Shortbread’, is a movement artist working across theatre, commercial, competitive and underground dance scenes. Specialising in Breaking, Shortbread is an Elite Squad member of Breaking GB & last year's finalist at Red Bull BC One UK Cypher. Starting their dance journey with Hip Hop styles, Emma went on to train at Contemporary Dance Theatre in London, where they are now based. A sought-after artist, Emma has performed & dance captained with ZooNation (Message In A Bottle) and Olivier Award-winning UK Hip Hop Theatre companies Boy Blue (REDD) and Far From the Norm (Union Black), among others. Emma has collaborated as both dancer & choreographer with brands such as Adidas, Levi’s and Nike, and appeared in print for ASOS, I Am Hip-Hop Magazine, DIVA and the Hip Hop Dance Almanac.
